We had to fly through Houston. It makes our airport look incredible. The picture of it doesn't do it justice. Most of it is just grey hallway. Even in this nicer waiting area, the announcers drone on and on about this and that. Flying into Houston at night doesn't help - it's even an ugly city at night. Most cities look good with the lights but Houston still looks like a concrete mess.

We met up with our friends in BA and had our first night out to dinner. We went to the restaurant we had been to two years ago in Palermo but couldn't find it at first. The place had changed completely and renamed itself Cerviche. They did Cerviche, a raw fish dish, in a kind of peruvian style. The restaurant kind of looked stupid now though. They had basically boarded up what was a cool open air kitchen and painted the new walls primary reds and blues. it was a very posh place now it's less inviting. However, the service was spectacular. We even made the waiter do a double chin for a photo.
